Be What You Believe by Nikki Jourdan 01/26/2012
Greetings! It comes a time in every believer's life to think, say and do the Word of God in obedience. Faith is having confidence in [God's] ability, strength and character. When fiery trials, temptation, tribulation, trouble come against what we know to be God's will: we are to stand firmly and in agreement with God. Purpose to Be what you believe in the Word of God! Settle it once and for all. Empowerment for the Word of God: Become What You Believe Matthew 9-10 (MGE) 27-28 "As Jesus left the house, he was followed by two blind men crying out, "Mercy, Son of David! Mercy on us!" When Jesus got home, the blind men went in with him. Jesus said to them, "Do you really believe I can do this?" They said, "Why, yes, Master!" 29-31He touched their eyes and said, "Become what you believe." It happened. They saw. Then Jesus became very stern. "Don't let a soul know how this happened." But they were hardly out the door before they started blabbing it to everyone they met. 32-33Right after that, as the blind men were leaving, a man who had been struck speechless by an evil spirit was brought to Jesus. As soon as Jesus threw the evil tormenting spirit out, the man talked away just as if he'd been talking all his life. The people were up on their feet applauding: "There's never been anything like this in Israel!" 34The Pharisees were left sputtering, "Hocus-pocus. It's nothing but hocus-pocus. He's probably made a pact with the Devil." 35-38Then Jesus made a circuit of all the towns and villages. He taught in their meeting places, reported kingdom news, and healed their diseased bodies, healed their bruised and hurt lives. When he looked out over the crowds, his heart broke. So confused and aimless they were, like sheep with no shepherd. "What a huge harvest!" he said to his disciples. "How few workers! On your knees and pray for harvest hands!" Matt 10:1 1-4 The prayer was no sooner prayed than it was answered. Jesus called twelve of his followers and sent them into the ripe fields. He gave them power to kick out the evil spirits and to tenderly care for the bruised and hurt lives. This is the list of the twelve he sent: You see, we are here to follow in the steps to: carry on the Family Business by doing the greater works. Let us be mindful of our relationship with Jesus of Nazareth. Never let it grow old, cold, dry or plan. Get back up and get excited about being saved, Spirit-filled and tongue-talking, ha! Understanding God's Love by Nikki Jourdan Greetings! Perfect love has power to drive out fear; cast out fear; force out fear. God's love is perfect having no flaws. God's love in unfailing. God's love in un-conditional. God's love never fails. God's love empowers. God's love assures. God's way of living is a lifestyle we are to choose daily. Galatians 5:22-23 (The Message) 22-23But what happens when we live God's way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely. 23-24Legalism is helpless in bringing this about; it only gets in the way. Among those who belong to Christ, everything connected with getting our own way and mindlessly responding to what everyone else calls necessities is killed off for good—crucified. Thanks for listening. Nikki Jourdan http://chooselovelifestyle.com Getting Unstuck from Cycles and Patterns 02/17/2010
Greetings! How often do we wish ourselves to another place, family or time period in life? Only to discover the struggles there were worst that what we are facing or have encountered already. Today, let us explore deeper to better understand why we think and behave the way we do. And what can be done about it. Being a Christian life coach for Kingdom women leaders has given me the opportunity to grow, develop and become more creative in presenting the truth in love. I, too, had to learn to be a world over-comer, in Christ, and face my own impasse of getting unstuck from cycles of fear and professional victim mindsets. This article shares a modified version of what was taught by Kim Richardson during Certification Courses with Total Coach. Be mindful that the following are for believers overcoming abuse and victim mindsets: There are four basic patterns or personality types, also called archetypes. Should you find yourself in one or more of these patterns; be honest and keep an open mind. Help is available. Are you ready? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ..Let's Ride! 1. The Pattern of The Child is that of innocence and total trust. A loving nurturing safe environment cultivates a happy, joyful, well-balanced child. One that would most likely grow into a person able to take responsibility, practice good work ethics, exercise self-control, and develop healthy relationships. Here we see the ideal pattern of a resourceful, confident and resilient person. Life is great and overcoming obstacles is a way of life: Christ-Centered and Spirit-Filled. 2. The Pattern of The Professional Victim is that of total dependency or co-dependency. There is a trail of blame and complains; lack of responsibility; lack of focus and direction in life. The inability to trust, along with seeking of approval or validation only reinforces feelings of low self-esteem; unworthiness; and self-hatred. Embrace God's love and forgiveness. 3. The Pattern of The Double Thinker is that of blocking every path to success, prosperity and true freedom. Fear is the fuel and catalyst that creates roadblocks and much inner conflicts; turmoil; false beliefs and unrealistic expectations. Life is more like that of a raging bull in a china store. The damages can only be seen after the fact. Take courage be renewed in the spirit of the mind 4. The Pattern of The Whore-Monger is that of compromise. It is the act of negotiating and giving away personal power, creativity, wisdom, brilliance, in exchange for safety due to utter desperation. It is living a sub-standard lifestyle for something that is already there hidden deep within. Connect to God. Again, help is available. You can overcome by love and live in the present rather than the past. You can get unstuck and become mobile and alive once more, In Him.
