Be What You Believe by Nikki Jourdan 01/26/2012
Greetings! It comes a time in every believer's life to think, say and do the Word of God in obedience. Faith is having confidence in [God's] ability, strength and character. When fiery trials, temptation, tribulation, trouble come against what we know to be God's will: we are to stand firmly and in agreement with God. Purpose to Be what you believe in the Word of God! Settle it once and for all. Empowerment for the Word of God: Become What You Believe Matthew 9-10 (MGE) 27-28 "As Jesus left the house, he was followed by two blind men crying out, "Mercy, Son of David! Mercy on us!" When Jesus got home, the blind men went in with him. Jesus said to them, "Do you really believe I can do this?" They said, "Why, yes, Master!" 29-31He touched their eyes and said, "Become what you believe." It happened. They saw. Then Jesus became very stern. "Don't let a soul know how this happened." He's probably made a pact with the Devil." 35-38Then Jesus made a circuit of all the towns and villages. He taught in their meeting places, reported kingdom news, and healed their diseased bodies, healed their bruised and hurt lives. When he looked out over the crowds, his heart broke. So confused and aimless they were, like sheep with no shepherd. "What a huge harvest!" he said to his disciples. "How few workers! On your knees and pray for harvest hands!" Matt 10:1 1-4 The prayer was no sooner prayed than it was answered. Jesus called twelve of his followers and sent them into the ripe fields. He gave them power to kick out the evil spirits and to tenderly care for the bruised and hurt lives. This is the list of the twelve he sent: You see, we are here to follow in the steps to: carry on the Family Business by doing the greater works.
